new years eve mini

we started a new tradition last year with our kids of having a fancy dinner party with them to the ring in the new year, complete with the pretty dresses, a photo booth and crowns and horns!
i used my fuji instax mini camera to capture the fun. after new years eve i found a cute wallet at wal mart and decided i could make a scrapbook of some sort with it.
so i cut out the inside wallet part and cut paper to fit, accordion folded it and glued it together and into the wallet. after that i just added my pictures and embellishments. i love how it turned out and its fun and purse sized!

heidi swapp + epiphany crafts

its like a dream come true! i LOVE heidi swapp and if you follow me anywhere on the internet you know that. i may have an unhealthy obsession, but that's another story, lol.
i started as a guest designer on the epiphany crafts blog in july and was signed on for a 3 month stint. i loved it and it was so fun! then i was able to stay on for the rest of the year which is super exciting in my world. on top of that epiphany crafts is teaming up with my most favorite designer/scrapbooker/inspiring speaker/mom of a large family and all around awesome person Heidi Swapp....excuse me while i swoon and faint. i received a lovely box of products to "make pretty stuff" with and as soon as my sisters wedding was over i got to it!

there was so much that i wanted to make i almost didn't know where to start and i have another project i plan on using the beautiful floral paper for from heidi swapp's september skies.

what i was able to finish is my first project life page, a 12x12 layout a little mini album and a jam packed daily mini album....
