the greatest birthday...

as usual, it's been a while since i posted...life.

we did a first (for us) in june...we had a double birthday party. we have two littles with june birthdays, one at the beginning and one at the end. i had started planning a greatest show birthday for olivia and asked nessa what kind of birthday she would like? nessa couldn't make up her mind, lol and i was running out of time. our whole family loved the greatest showman movie and have been singing the songs since january - so i thought well let's try a double party for nessa and olivia.

i had already sketched an outfit for olivia to wear for her 5 year old pictures and the party...

i tried to talk nessa into the bearded lady, but she was not having it. she wanted to be anne wheeler...so i quickly ordered a leotard/skirt/ballet shoes from amazon and some fabric and gems to jazz it up. thank goodness for amazon prime! big shout out to my mom for making olivia's outfit!!! she is an amazing seamstress always bringing my ideas to life!

ideally i would have done their 5 and 7 year old session near a cool abandoned building or an open field...but with all of the props i made and time constraints i worked with what i had...my back yard...
