cinderella...

i thought i had posted the pictures i did feb. 2011 of my oldest daughter...but apparently i did not.  so better late than never...here they are almost 2 years later, lol.

she wanted a princess party for her 3rd birthday. my mom made her this beautiful dress out of my dad's old dress shirts and some tulle we had laying around. it turned out gorgeous, and emma LOVED it!!!

i took her downtown to take some cinderella pictures of her, i would have done it a little differently if i were to do them now. for one i found an even better location, and 2 i would have done a better job with the photography part of it, since then i have shot only in manual which makes a huge difference! anyways, i do love the clock one at the end, and emma was beyond happy with the whole thing!

purse mirror turned into a mini album...

so i found this so cute polka dot mirror for your purse at forever 21...it was too cute not to buy, it had polka dots and a bow!

i knew right away i wasn't going to use it for it's created purpose...i knew i wanted to do something scrapbooky (i'm sure that's not a word but i do that alot) with it.

so i bet you can guess but i took out some heidi swapp sugar chic stuff and some "vintage" heidi swapp stuff i have been hoarding, i mean saving, lol!

and i ended up with this little cutie...

grandparents day gift

so the 2nd sunday of september is grandparents day. i know its coming every year, but it still always sneaks up on me...i'm sure it has nothing to do with having 5 kids and all the other stuff going on in my life.

well within in a week i tortured i mean took pictures of the kids, edited them printed them and put them in a mini stand up album.

i used some stash of house of 3 daily junque collection...and here are the results

crafty wall hanging for grandma

a wall hanging for my mom's sewing room...

i really love how this turned out, i bought some fabric, a pattern (i got a costume one of like a dress from the 1800's so there would be a lot of pattern paper to cut up) some metallic thread, ric rac trim & white puff ball trim, and a turquoise tape measure.

i traced one of each of the kids hands onto the pattern. cut them out and sewed them onto a 7 x 7 inch square of fabric and then on the back of each kids hand they drew a picture and wrote something except i did nessa's.
i sewed them all together using the tape measure cut up.

i also stamped the "we love you sew much" onto fabric ripped it into strips and sewed it on as well, added some paper doilies, and a tape measure bow which i love! i used a heidi swapp instaframe on it as well

suagr chic projects

this is a 6x6 canvas i painted, and then added a matryoshka doll set i made in photoshop with heidi swapp's digital line of sugar chic and then added some embellishments from the sugar chic line
this is tiny 2 x 3 frame that the glass was missing from one side and it used to be an ugly old gold...painted it made a little sheet for one side and then took a piece of 12x12 sugar chic paper cut it and accordion folded it...added super tiny pics and embellishments and stamps

this was a gift my sis in law of the pics i did of her baby girl (my niece)...i used one of those great 99 cents ikea frames and added a bunch of pages mostly done with sugar chic and a few other lines

i heart the origami cheetah bow!

a plain old 1.00 wooden frame from michaels, added some paint, sugar chic paper, embellishments, trim and flowers
i made this with the digital line to frame on my editing desk, fun!
this was also made with the digital heidi swapp goodies
as well as my baby' girls 1st birthday invite, with her cute lil face on them!
and last but not least, digital sugar chic papers on printable fabric! hello cutest banner EVER!

so i know picture overload of sugar chic goodness but i love this line from heidi swapp! i still have more to do! except for the digital goodies i got all my heidi swapp goodness from my local scrapbook store (which i also love) posh scraps
